Fundraise for Food For Families.

When families across Victoria and Tasmania can't afford food, Uniting's emergency relief pantries help make ends meet — so people don't have to choose between putting food on the table and keeping the lights on. Setting up a fundraising page will help keep our pantries stocked and ready to feed families when they need it most.

How it works.

Register online, choose your fundraising idea, and share it with your network. Every dollar you raise goes directly toward providing food for people who need it most.

It’s easy to get started:

  1. Register online — set up your fundraising page in just minutes using the link below
  2. Set a fundraising goal — every dollar helps put food on the table for families in need
  3. Share and start fundraising — spread the word and invite your network to support your efforts.

Ideas to get you started

Workplace

Run a workplace fundraiser

Organise a morning tea, themed lunch, or staff giving campaign and invite colleagues to donate. You can even ask your employer to match contributions to double the impact for families doing it tough.

School

Get your school involved

A classroom challenge, casual clothes day, bake sale, BBQ, raffle, quiz  or any other school fundraiser can raise much needed funds while helping students learn about food insecurity in their community.

Personal

Fundraise yourself

Turn a birthday, milestone, or personal challenge into a fundraiser to mark the occasion. Ask freinds and family to donate instead of giving a gift, knowing every dollar raised helps provide food  when it's needed most.

Community

Rally your community

Bring people together for a morning tea, trivia night, movie screening, games night  or group dinner — all funds raised help stock our pantries with essential items for those who need them most.

Where does the money go?

Every dollar raised through Food For Families goes directly to purchasing food and essential items for Uniting's emergency relief pantries across Victoria and Tasmania, helping families and individuals access what they need, when they need it most.

All donations $2 and over are tax-deductible. If you're fundraising through your workplace, ask your employer about dollar-matching — it's a simple way to double the impact of every contribution.
