the 2025 Murray to Moyne cycling relay to raise vital funds for Uniting’s Horsham
service.

headspace Horsham provides free support to young people aged 12-25 years going
through a tough time and struggling with their mental health.

Your donation will help provide vital mental health and wellbeing support, information
and services to young people and their families across the Wimmera region.

Hi, I'm Max! In 2025, I’ll be participating in the Murray to Moyne with Team Lifecycle, riding as part of the Avengers group. This event isn’t just about endurance—it’s about teamwork, dedication, and supporting a great cause. With high standards set within the team, I’m determined to give it my all and make this experience as rewarding as possible.

When I’m not cycling, you’ll often find me hiking, spending time with friends and family, or obsessing over cars. Cycling has been a big part of my life since I was little, and I owe a huge thanks to my dad for fueling my passion. I wouldn’t be on the Murray To Moyne without his support.

I'm proud to be riding in support of Horsham Headspace, with Team Lifecycle, helping the wellbeing of young people aged 12-25.

Only 36 hours until we're heading up to Echuca and getting ready for the Murray to Moyne. My current emotions are, Excited, Nervous and Curious. 
Weather is looking good too. Interested to see how the north-west wind plays out on Sunday.

I have been training a lot on zwift and I think it has really helped my fitness. But there a few other key things that you need to be aware of when actually riding on the bike. Body Position greatly affects how aero and how fast you can go. Using the whole pedal stroke when you're riding can also give you a big power boost as you are using different muscles for essentially the same effort or even lower. This means you can ride faster for longer. 

And off the bike I'll be making sure my electrolytes and carbohydrates and high, keeping me filled with energy for the ride.
